This is book 3 in the Elder series. COMPLETE "What's your name?" He murmured against my lips, his hand slowly ascending up between my thighs. "Tess," I answered, sliding my hands around to his back. "What's yours?" "Kane," he answered, his fingers sliding up barely brushing against my underwear but not touching me. I couldn't take it, I wanted him to touch me. I wrapped my hand around his wrist and guided his hand up until he was touching me. He groaned, leaning his head down into my neck, placing a hot kiss against my skin that sent electricity through my body. "Kane," I breathed as he rubbed me through my underwear. "Tess," he whispered, his teeth grazing across my skin. "You're so wet for me, baby," he growled, moving the underwear aside and sliding his finger into me. He added a second finger, plunging them into me roughly. "Mine," he growled, sinking his fingers in deep. *** Tess is the Gamma of Blackstone pack, the strongest pack in the Northwest. Or, used to be strongest. Since Tess's Luna became pregnant, the pack's strength has faltered. Luna Addie's pregnancy doesn't go as planned and excited for the new life quickly fades to concern as Addie becomes increasingly ill and barely able to leave bed. Blackstone pack and their allies have done everything in their power to try to help Addie but nothing has helped and so Tess volunteers to look for someone at the national meeting of supernatural down in Atlanta, Georgia, in the hopes that she can find a healer that might be able to help her Luna. It's at this great gathering of supernaturals that Tess meets her mate, Kane. As she learns about him she discovers some unexpected news about the mate she's been waiting so long to be with. Torn between love and duty, Tess has to find a way to prioritize these complications before it's too late. Love and duty is a delicate balancing act that if tipped too far in one direction, could send both toppling.

Re-posting. The common story is that finding a mate is supposed to make the wolf stronger. For an alpha, finding his mate, blessed by the moon goddess, strengthens the pack. But there can be such darkness hidden in that dynamic. Even those of cruel hearts can seek the power of a mate. And the damage they cause might not ever be healed. ***** Prologue: Drip. Drip. Drip. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done. Only then, could there be any comfort from hell. ***** WARNING- This story does delve into topics of kidnapping, imprisonment, rape, murder, and violence. Though the scenes are not explicitly detailed, underage readers are discouraged. Also note that I do not own the rights to any photos I have or might post for this story. Just photos I found online, cropped and edited. The story however, is all mine. No copy of content is permitted.

(Please read Theron 1 before moving on to this book) A stranger washes ashore on a deserted beach. With no memory of who or what he is, the only clue he has to his identity--the only thing he recalls from his past life--is a single, solitary name: Lina. But on a planet with over seven billion inhabitants, his only chance of finding her rests solely within the hands of Fate itself... and the help of a sassy, young street rat. A child's life hangs in the balance--a child whose blood is so unique it has the power to change the course of the future for one group of supernaturals in particular... and this group doesn't howl at the moon. For Lina and the other Ancients, a new war is brewing and in a very literal sense. This battle will not be fought with bullets and teeth like the massacre at Superlunar, but rather with magic and wit and maybe a little divine intervention. So, how do you fight an evil you can't touch? How do you stop a weapon you can't see? And how to you protect the ones you have no memory of loving? Easy! You have to remember what you don't know you knew... You have to remember who you are... You just have to remember. ⚠️ This story is marked "Mature" for a reason. There will be violence, strong language and sexual content. I will not write a warning for these chapters as it is already labeled for a mature audience. Please also note, this story is currently unedited. ©️ 2021 by Alyssa Michelle. All rights reserved. I'm standing in the gateway to the larger ballroom, almost too far away for my weak eyes to see the three figures that glide onto the stage. The King and Queen walk side by side until they come to their thrones, the Prince walking about five feet behind and moving towards the smaller throne to the King's left. The King and Queen sit down on their thrones in unison. The Prince doesn't. Even I can see the way his shoulders are bristling, a sort of confused wonder dawning on his face. And I would swear he is looking directly at me. //// Lee Collins wants to help her sister, Lucy. She has a vision of a future away from their dad, where Lucy could be healthy and they would have some chance of happiness. When Lee's only friend helps her sneak into the royal ball on the minuscule chance that an attending doctor would be willing to help, Lee ends up fleeing the party early, chased by none other than her mate. Lee finds herself locked in from all sides, desperate to escape the suffocating implications of a mate but frantic to fight for a future for her sister that she still believes possible. Working in the Royal Palace to save escape money is a terrible idea when you have a controlling father, but it's an even worse idea when the mate that you're avoiding is the Prince. //Marked Mature just in case for violence. general trigger warning. Some chapters may be triggering for abuse and anxiety//
