At school, Joey doesn't acknowledge his brother, at home and in the past they are inseparable with the excuses from Joey tolling up over time. His isolation and other emotions are expressed through his art. The two seventeen year olds are connected in their different forms of art in a teenage story filled with drama, sarcasm and loads of creativity. "My drawings are like stick figures compared to anything you draw. You could draw the world's ugliest frog and it will still turn out beautiful. Lucas you're an amazing artist." "So are you." He said quietly, looking up at me with his soft, heartwarming eyes. "How?"I couldn't draw for shit. "Because you are a dancer. Dancing is an art. And you are an amazing dancer." Octavia. That's the name the world knows her by. One word. One name. At seventeen, she was a girl who had her spotlight when she was whisked away to co-star in what would be an award-winning movie. From that moment on, she had never strayed away. Now, at 24, Octavia is a star and has found herself in multiple productions. As she finds herself in Milan, Italy for a new and upcoming movie she is cast in, she crosses paths with Caleb Henderson, the famous writer known to the world as Romero Henderson. However, as the production of the movie begins, Octavia immediately decides her opinion of Caleb. She doesn't like him. She borderline hates him. She hates how annoying he is. She hates the stupid, random topics he always brings up. She hates how he almost always cuts her off whenever she's speaking. She hates how attracted she is to him. I exhaled, trying to rub the tiredness off my face with my hands. I looked down at his shadow on the ground to him. His face looked as if it was glowing from the sun, his eyes narrowing from the brightness. I let my gaze trail from the exposed tattoos on his arms to the stupid smile that was still on his face. "Why are you like this?" For a moment he didn't answer me. He simply glanced at me, knowing that I meant more in the five words. The smile on his face went from pure amusement to bitterness. It was something I had never seen before and I didn't think I wanted to see him smile like that ever again. He pivoted his head towards the sun once again and in a serious tone asked, "Would you have me any other way?" Cover: @EmSlough_

*cover by skyrockette* In a small town in California, 17-year-old Chloe Harper has been left to take care of her late grandfather's once-legendary bakery called Eleanor's, which was named after Chloe's mother, Eleanor (duh) Sadly, Chloe's best friend Aubrey Gray, who is also the most popular girl at their high school, had her parents and her open a rival bakery down the street from Eleanor's, but that isn't the worst part. The worst part was that the Grays were not only stealing Eleanor's customers but also stealing the employees as well by giving them better pay and a free week at the family's beach house in southern California for each new employee. Now meet Jasper Gray, the twin brother of Aubrey Gray. Just like Aubrey, he is the most popular guy in school and is also the newest addition and one of the only additions to Eleanor's, instead of working at his family's bakery. Now with the help of Jasper and a few others, Chloe and Jasper will figure out a way to make the once legendary bakery, legendary again. " Hey Chlo, I was just wondering, but are the cookies supposed to look black and smell....different?" Jasper calls from the kitchen. Scratch that, they will try to make the bakery legendary again....but it might take a little while longer than expected.
