Is it death? Is it alpacas? Apartment bills? Nope, it's an angsty teenager with straight A's.

Having to deal with her sister, the Queen of persuasion and procrastination, and lots of talks about allergic reactions, the 17-year-old, Crystal, has only her graduation to look forward to, as well as her past lover to stop trying to get back together with her.
Once a mysterious, strange man suddenly pops out of nowhere, Crystal comes to realize that she is experiencing what is only possible in sappy, cliché romance stories; true love. What Crystal doesn't know is that in this messed up world, literally nothing makes sense. Not even the cover of this book.
Is it really that bad? Why, because the dude came straight out of a book Ember, Crystal's twin, wrote, it is. Being normal is hard, being sane is harder. Writing a crappy romance book to prove you're sane is absolute chaos, especially since the protagonist of that said book decides to court your sister before you even finish writing the book to figure out the outcome.
I guess it's just another day.
