Sixteen year old, Cindy Johnstone moves to Tulsa Oklahoma with her mother for a fresh start. She quickly makes friends with everyone, Soc's and Greasers and tries her hardest to remain friends with them all. She battles with insecurities daily but when she starts to fall for a Greaser he helps her break them down and love herself as well as loving him.
