Wukong ha mantenido a su hijo oculto de cualquier amenaza, o al menos eso creía, con la víspera de la resurrección de Lady Bone Demon a la vuelta de la esquina, una noche el rey es visitado por una sombra que creía ya extinta hace años. Con el regreso de Macaque a la vida, Wukong tiene que empezar a dar respuestas, y a planear como mantener a su querido sucesor a salvo; mientras intenta hacer eso, deberá lidiar con un MK demasiado ansioso por conocer a su otro padre, y a replantearse seriamente las leyes celestiales matrimoniales sobre el lema "unidos para toda la eternidad" que hace que, oficialmente, Macaque siga siendo su esposo.

Haciendole creer a MK que ahora está de su lado, Macaque se uniría al equipo Monkie Kid con el objetivo de robarse los anillos para obtener el fuego Samadhi para sí mismo y librarse por fin de las ataduras de Lady Bone Demon, pero a medida que convive más con el grupo se da cuenta que sus planes de traición se debilitan al igual que Wukong, quien parece estar a punto de derrumbarse, secretos acumulándose debajo de la piel del mono dorado que nadie más que Macaque parece notar, enfrascándose más y más en él para descubrir la verdad hasta que es demasiado tarde, alguien más tuvo su misma idea del crimen perfecto y los anillos que con tanto esfuerzo habrían recuperado desaparecerían una noche junto a Monkey King sin dejar rastro alguno.

MK y el resto del equipo reciben una invitación formal de parte del alcalde para asistir a un baile en celebración a las heroicas hazañas de los nuevos héroes de la ciudad, Xiaotian de alguna manera consigue arrastrar a su mentor al evento, todo parece ir bien, hasta que el alcalde pide bailar con Wukong. *Macaque x Wukong *SHADOWPEACH

Después de los sucesos con Lady Bone Demon Macaque ha quedado debilitado y en medio de su recuperación su celo comenzó, los demonios tienen un celo diferente al de los animales, Macaque no necesita sexo, sino sangre, y no cualquier sangre, su cuerpo pide específicamente la del gran sabio igual al cielo. Obligados a convivir para evitar que Macaque se convierta en un peligro para sí mismo y los demas, sentimientos escondidos y traumas del pasado saldrán a la luz eventualmente. Esto estaría bien en cierto punto, excepto que su cuerpo poco a poco parece querer reclamar más y más del rey mono.
