It has been 14 years since the zombie apocalypse started and the world descended into chaos. There are few cities that people still live in. Many of these cities have zombies roaming the outer edges and are close to falling and becoming abandoned like the rest. There is only one city in the world that is safe and protected, the Safe Haven. Emmie is a girl who lives on the outskirts of one of these falling cities. When her city falls she is forced to travel to the Safe Haven with three other girls from her city. On her journey, she runs into a group of 13 men also heading to the Safe Haven.
