After Ray announces his pregnancy and finds out he's having twins, Ray decides to try to leave his abusive, alcoholic, father of the twins, boyfriend Coast. With a little help from his best friend, Ash, he moves his stuff out of the apartment he and Coast shared to Ash's two-bedroom apartment, and Ash tells him he can stay as long as he wants, which results in Ray and Ash ending up having an affair with each other, where Ash heals Ray in ways that Ray himself couldn't even explain. During the years of 1971 and 1972, strange things started to happen to a little girl's family and no one could figure out why. Ruby was given a diary to write down her day to day life during this time period, and very odd and frightening things are written and described in it. Short after, she dies of mysterious circumstances and no one can figure out what has happened; if it is a curse or something more sinister. This is Ruby's diary.
