Deathstroke didn't have to. He really didn't have to. Finding a small black haired and blue eyed boy on the grimy streets of Gotham was never part of the plan. Taking him wasn't either. Five years after the Graysons death, and there's a new black haired, blue eyed thief in Gotham, nobody knows who he is, it's a mystery. So that's what they've called him- Mystery. Mystery constantly annoys the Justice League and their sidekicks, occasionally helping out when it suits him. The Justice League know nothing about the young boy and its starting to frustrate them, especially Batman. What happens when they find out that Mystery is just Richard Grayson, a messed up orphan? It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. But that was never enough. It never will be. By the end of the day, no matter what they did, Dick was still dead. Well, at least he was to them. When bodies start dropping all over Gotham, each one leaving a message for the mighty Batman, people start asking questions. Maybe Batman isn't capable of protecting Gotham, maybe he's finally met his match. What happens when these bodies start becoming innocent people instead of criminals? What will Batman do then?
