It's been six years since we left the gang. Arnold and everybody else graduated from P.S. 118 and moved up to middle school at P.S. 120. When Arnold was in 7th grade, his grandmother, Pokie had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and ended up in a nursing home. Arnold's grandpa was afraid that him and Arnold's grandmother wouldn't be able to take care of him so he sent Arnold to Maryland- his grandpa had family there. Gerald and Arnold promised they would stay friends and surprisingly they did. They talked nearly every single day. When 8th grade began and Arnold wasn't there, he felt like he had been because of Gerald, but everybody felt his absence. Especially Helga. As the years passed, Helga's creepy obsessive love for Arnold dwindled into a more appropriate sweet puppy love. Just before Arnold left, they had even been on the road to becoming friends. After he left he left Helga was heartbroken. Arnold was her first love after all. But as time went on she accepted that Arnold was a part of her childhood and that she shouldn't wait for him forever. Helga never thought forever would come as soo as her sophomore year in high school at P.S. 121.

She had always tortured him for as long as he could remember- since pre-school, to be exact. So what was he supposed to think when.. everything about her seemed to have changed?

**Adult Fic** Helga passed her high school years being crazy in love with Arnold. Even if she was a high school student being older and more mature, she continued to hide behind doorways reciting her passion love to her football headed, while holding her heart locket closed to her chest. Even if she saw Arnold from afar and hanging around other girls she never stop loving him. Helga's best friend continued to be Phoebe, Helga talked every now and then with Rhonda, Nadine, Patty and other guy friends as well, but she never dated other man, much less have a boyfriend. During her senior prom graduation party she attended with other guys and girls has a group. Her heart ache with the sight of seeing Arnold with Lila that day, she knew they were a couple, but still she never got used to seeing them other. Now Arnold he was a good student, straight A's and very devoted to his friends and grandparents. He never got in to any trouble with the teachers or other classmates. Every time he saw Helga passing by he would try to talk to her, yet Helga would just push him away. She hated to see him knowing he would never love her. Even in their last years of High school Arnold tried to have conversations with her, unfortunately those conversations always ended badly. However, all of that change one hot summer night, after graduation when Arnold fell.........in to an addiction.
