Es gibt eine Prophezeiung die besagt, dass der wahre Sucher kommen wird und die Welt vor dem Bösen schützen soll. Westland hat die Magie noch nicht so erreicht, anders als die Midlands und D'Hara. Deshalb verändert sich das Leben von Richard Cypher grundartig, als er die Konfessor Kahlan Amnell kennenlernt und erfährt, dass der alte Mann, den er schon lange kennt, mehr ist als er ahnt... Das ist nicht meine eigene Gesichte, die Personen gehören Terry Goodkind, dem Autor der "Das Schwert der Wahrheit" Reihe. Da sich aber das Buch von der Serie stark unterscheidet, schrieb ich dieses Buch. Die Serie ist von "ABC-Studios".
