Childhood sweethearts. Sounds romantic and to an extent even poetic. Two people, forever together. Or are they? When he goes abroad to achieve his dreams, he leaves behind more than just his home. He leaves his heart with the only girl he has ever loved. Years later when he comes back, life plays a cruel joke when he finds her spiralling down a road of drug abuse. Looking for answers, he unravels the truth behind what happened in the years that came between them. With that he vows to fix her, and gradually takes her under his wing. This is a collection of vignettes about loneliness. Loneliness is not something taken by choice. Loneliness is an epidemic and not many realize the fact. This is to emphasize on what it really does to an individual. The parts to this book showcases different characters and different people and do not focus on one person as such.
