He didn't expect too much of his roommates, from everything he's heard, they're average, if a bit childish at times. What he didn't expect was three just-out-of-college students all with music majors and a thrill for doing stupid bullshit. As he gets whisked away in their little adventures, his life changes and his future starts to shape into something entirely new. Remus Lupin never expected to be a rock star. For seventh years James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew, October only means one thing (and it's not Halloween, or the first month in like six years the full moon comes out twice, or the Fail At Asking Out Lily Evans Week): The annual Marauder Prank-Off. (this did not start out intending to be jily or wolfstar but hey shit happens)

The Marauders are starting their fifth year at Hogwarts; Remus is starting with a massive scar across his face - a byproduct of the increasing severity of his furry little problem, which is a definite cause for concern despite his insistence that it it's fine. Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.

Wolfstar, Marauders Era au. Sirius Black has found himself falling in love with one of his best friends, Remus Lupin. Unable to express his feelings any other way, he begins to write in a notebook, filling it with things he'll never tell him.
