Lawliet is a Neko cat. His old owner abused and abandoned him. He became a street cat before a teenage boy Light Yagami found him and took him in as his own. They grow a close relationship and become more then friends.

Takes place after the extended ending of the show. Light is now a shinigami apprentice, he's learning this from Ryuk. However, various things happen after a human is reincarnated as a death god.
