I always thought that meeting my soul mate would be significant; that there would be fireworks or a beautiful sunset or something to let me know that it was happening. Sparks flying, electricity, something to give me a hint. I thought that I would meet them at a 4th of July party or a wedding or some other get together. Or that I would meet them in my favorite record store or in the heart of my favorite city, something romantic like that. But no, the way I met my soul mate was utterly unexpected and to be honest, the whole meeting was just rude. Not my type. Not at first, at least. *All characters belong to the CW, while ideas are purely a work of fiction made up by me.

After both families need a fresh start, the Novaks and the Winchesters become neighbours. Dean and Castiel, however, refuse to talk to anybody but something brings them both out of their shells.

Castiel is still in purgatory and it's causing Dean to lose his mind; literally hallucinate. When Castiel returns, dean is alone and losing hope. Ever since Dean Winchester came out as gay to his friend, Meg, and she told everyone, people have constantly tormented him. No one had ever really bothered him before, aside from the occaisonal 'loser' and 'freak', but everyone got that, didn't they? Dean's life completely turned around when Castiel Novak began his junior year at Scurmount High. Rumors spread about Cas. "I heard he just got out of prison for attempted murder," "My friend went to his old school! She told me he was expelled, and thats why he was switched." Dean was unaware of which rumors were true, and which weren't but he had decided to try and stay away from this boy with an uncovered past, but somehow, he gets sucked in.
