Rose is the daughter of the Earl Fantomhive who disapeared a while ago, her mother, Elizabeth, married Alois Trancy a year later and had a boy named Arthur and left when Arthur was only 3 and Rose was 5 with only their butler, Stan who was 8 years of age. Over the many years their mother was gone surching for the Earl, Rose and Arthur had grown to hate Ceil Fantomhive but one day the Earl shows up with his butler who Rose believes was the cause of their mother's disapearence.
