The mountains were cold up north, stories of the pack that once terrorized the lands long ago live up there. The pack was once known as ruthless, but now, the pack is unknown, unheard of. The story is now told as, no one goes there, no one comes back. Reality of the story, is no one has ever came back. Alphas, and other leaders will not talk to the press, packs, or any other living creature about the communication with the north pack. For as much as we know, there is no communication. The North Pack was built when a leader was punished in their old pack, burned in fire, and rised like a phoenix from the ashes. When the so known fire leader had a child, it was known that it was a girl wolf, and that nothing in the lands would ever be the same again, because no other Alpha had ever had a baby girl. When the girl took the title of Alpha, she became the ice leader, known for punishing those who disobeyed her by making them freeze almost to the death in the mountains, slower, more painful than fire. She became deadly, and then suddenly went off radar when packs across the lands started war with each other and the lands never heard of her again, and the leaders never spoke about her again, and she never was heard of again. Until now. Cover made by: My longtime friend, @ViolentPurple

"Sir, please stop! What's happening? I didn't mean to do anything wrong!! Sir, please!" "Filthy rogue, I'm tired of your kind trekking in here like nothing's gonna happen. You'll learn!" The man yanked on my arm, throwing me on the filthy ground. I could feel the bruises forming on my hands and knees. I began to panic, tears began to fall faster than I realized. "I-I'm sorry! I really don't know what you're talking about. Believe me, I can leave," it seemed my begging was beginning to get through to him. The man hesitated, thought for a second, and then kicked me in the ribs, "Disgusting rat! You think I'm going to believe your load of bull?" He left, he actually left. I've never been so happy to be alone. I laid on the floor of the... I don't even know... a cage? It was large and slimy, dark and drab. After days of being left alone here I began to believe I was gonna be left here to starve. Then I heard footsteps. Faint, far, slow, but they were there. The steps got louder, until I heard a growl, feral and demanding. The steps became stomps, faster and growing in volume. A man burst in front of me, the world stopped turning.

"Do you know what metal this knife is made of?" My breaths were coming out in ragged wheezes, sounding garbled as my windpipe fought around the blood in my mouth. "No, sir." "It's silver." Another round of tears sprung loose from my eyes, and my hands curled into fists. How could I be so stupid? I could hear the smile in his voice, "Do you know what I am going to use this knife for, girl?" When I tried to speak, all that came out was a strained sob. A round of laughter erupted from the table, the council reveling in my torture. "I'm sorry, pet, I couldn't hear you," Alpha unhooked the back of my dress, exposing his canvas. A tremor racked my body, nearly seizing my vocal cords, "For carving into my body, sir." "Correct." +++ Copyright© to -hickman

Mena is a warrior. She is fierce, feral and fearless. Ares is an Alpha. He is strong, stoic and savage. - After being orphaned at a young age, Mena has always been determined to be the best. After years of training she proves herself by becoming one of her pack's Head Warriors, as well as her Alpha's Shadow. She has no time for potential mates or relationships, her duty and training taking most of her time. She's happy with that, and refuses to give any potentials the time of day. Ares is perfectly content leading alone, not having time for a nuisance in the form of a mate. He might reconsider if all of his potentials so far weren't weak, soft little girls who whimpered at the mere sight of him, but that hasn't happened yet. His pack is known for producing strong, vicious warriors. They are suffering without a Luna, though, so he decides to give his next potential a chance. He might be able to make her stronger, turn her into a fierce female that deserves to be at his side. He has no idea that his next potential could be too fierce for him to handle. -

Inessa will do anything to keep her life as a rogue. Her freedom is the last safe place in White Timber Forest, especially since the tensions between the four werewolf clans are threatening to erupt. However, the power-hungry clans know of her skills as a tracker. After being captured by the clan deepest into the forest, the same clan that killed her mother, Inessa is offered a deal: die, or marry the East clan's new alpha. Inessa sees only one choice - run. Alphas are not born, they are made. Arek of the East clan had it drilled into him since he was four that he needed to become alpha - no matter the sacrifice. After nineteen years of training, he finally challenges the Red Conclave, the ruling council of the East, and earns the right to become alpha. But there's a catch - he must marry Inessa, the gifted rogue, in order to keep her power inside the East clan. Marriage is the last thing on Arek's mind. He wants nothing to do with the feisty tracker. But there's something about Inessa he can't resist. Something about the way she yanks on the invisible chains of his past. Something about her scent. **No part of this story may be printed or used without explicit, written consent of the author. All rights reserved © 2018 - presented by Reese Cadwell**
