During an attempted ambush on the road, the Clark siblings and company encounter Melanie, a previous resident of Broke Jaw Ranch and her newly found companions. With Melanie and her group now in the picture, the fate of Nick and everyone else is heavily altered; changing the path of everyone forever. As our groups continue to survive and cope with losses and regrets, unbeknownst to what's happening beyond them, secrets begin to unfold and familiar faces return. - Will include: New locations, new characters, and lots of non-cannon stuff. Also, relationships you may not expect.

In which the dead walk the earth and numerous families fight to survive. I do not own any of the characters/plots or places used in Fear the Walking Dead. I only own any original characters who appear.

Nick Clark, the boy that gave me hope, doesn't practice what he preaches. Did he really mean what he said back then? Should I have embraced death? Overall, this story is pretty much spoiler free. The only spoiler is about Nick's dad, which I don't really consider a spoiler, but I thought I should warn you anyway. The healing process after survival for so long will be shown throughout Nick, Troy, and Alicia's point of views. I will also add Elyza on as a point of view for this story.
