The Volunteer Fire Department (V.F.D) use many codes for communication between Volunteers. After the schism, however, both sides continued to use the same codes, so it is difficult, if not impossible, to tell if the member using the code is on the fire-fighting or the fire-starting side. This book will tell you all the codes utilised by the volunteers. WARNING: Do not fall for the volunteers because you don't know whether they are bad or not.

The Baudelaire Orphans are now going through the most melancholy moments of their lives since their parents have perished in a terrible fire, and are forced to live with the despicable and not-so-intelligent Count Olaf. And throughout the whole story, the children have to figure out how to escape the wretches of the Count and his gruesome theater troupe, but what about outside help that can manage to get information on what's to happen? Enter Detective Scott Matthews, a city police detective and best friend of Justice Strauss. Scott and his wife Amelia have witnessed the ferocious fire, met with the Baudelaires, and Scott has been tasked to help bumbling banker Arthur Poe of Mulctuary Money Management to locate the new caretaker for the children. However, Scott and Mia know that something's up with Count Olaf, and both decide to make a Very Frightening Decision of taking on Count Olaf and his heinous henchpeople with the help of the Baudelaire Children. Disclaimer: I do not own A Series of Unfortunate Events. All work belongs to Lemony Snicket, Daniel Handler, Paramount/Dreamworks, and Netflix. Original characters and original text belong to me.

Dear Reader, I have kept this hidden file and sequel to my most successful book series; A Series of Unfortunate Events because I have decided to abruptly end it on Book the Thirteenth already. But it turns out, you all had fell in love with the series and so I am here to give you what you have all been bargaining for years. Here in this sequel, you will encounter a new generation of characters, a new generation of V.F.D., a new generation of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Apparently, I am too old and weak and some of my enemies have discovered my hidden location, I must find a new place to hide before my enemies capture me and regain all my secret works and weapons against them. For now, I shall hand over these files to one of my newest apprentices, who will be the one to assist in helping my editor publish and regain this new source to you devoted readers, and to accompany all of you in reading this treacherous tale. With all due respect, Lemony Snicket --x highest ranking: #2 in Codes out of 100 stories - 5/13/18

Dear Reader, If you are looking for a story about cheerful events, and believe that the book title is a misnomer, and this is the very book you are looking for, put this book down, go back to the library, and do one of two things: A, take the biggest dictionary you can find and slam your head repeatedly with it until you have realized you can't comprehend book titles, or B, go search the library for a cheerful book. Truth be told, this story is anything but cheerful, unless you are some deranged criminal who finds murder, kidnapping, harpoon guns, and lots of crying to be cheerful. It is my unfortunate duty to take over the study of the Baudelaire orphans from my Uncle Lemony, and begin researching and writing the next miserable chapter of their lives. Unless you do not want a good night's sleep for the next month, you should probably put this book down and back slowly away from it. With all due respect, -Allison Snicket

Dear Reader, I'm sorry that the story you are about to read is unpleasant. It tells the tale of a young girl in a summer camp. Even though she is tough and smart, this summer will be an especially unfortunate one of her. When she exited the bus at the summer camp location at the edge of the huge lake surrounded by mountains, she had no idea that she will encounter a villain as well as heroes in a battle here that will consume her whole summer. It is my duty to write down this story, but there is nothing stopping you from shutting off your phone or laptop and to do something happy and fun. Due to security reasons I cannot tell you my name, but please believe me when I say this tale is real and accurate. With all due respect, N. // COMPLETED!
