Separated as friends, united as enemies. When rendered alone and defenceless, orphaned Kai and Nya have only one another to lean on. Kai promises to never let any misfortune befall his sister but his words are proven false when he is unable to save her from a group of kidnappers. The guilt of losing Nya to the cruel world gnaws at him through the years and he is unable to forgive himself. When he trains as a ninja and faces many foes alongside his newfound family in arms, he slowly loses hope of ever finding her again. However, when Master Chen, the face of the most famous noodle house chain, is becoming known as a threat to Ninjago, Kai and his team travel to his island to stop him. Along with a faction of other Elemental Masters, the team is swept up in a surprise tournament. But there is something about these two sisters that doesn't sit right. Book 1 in the "Child's Play" series. After the walk on the canal and the assortment of love advices from his friends, Lloyd wonders if stepping out of his comfort zone will change things forever. Eyes on the prize, the Green Ninja invites the princess out to the city, aiming to strengthen their connection. All through the evening, Harumi faces complications as her shattered personality splits in two. She's stuck in a love-hate situation, battling with her inner voice and keeping herself off suspicion. The planned attack of the Sons of Garmadon grows near as the gullible ninja and princess unknowingly entangle themselves in the wicked game of love and trust. They embark on a carousel of falsehood, never reaching the true feelings of the other no matter how fast the ride moves. The sickness-invoking spinning and the enchanting music won't be ending pretty soon. ~~~~~~~~ A Lloyrumi short story in honor of a three hundred follower special! I don't own Ninjago.
