Improvvisamente si ritrova a far da manager a una squadra che sta sotto i riflettori di tutto il Giappone, ad avere come amica la versione femminile di suo fratello, a trovarsi in un triangolo amoroso e ad avere spesso a che fare con il solo e l'unico Satori Tendou, un ragazzo che è tutto ciò che Airi non è e non sarà mai, il suo perfetto contrario. Un ragazzo fuori dalle righe e più di un balcone, un ragazzo che sembra giri con un cartello in testa con su scritto "Satori Tendou, Guess Monster, pazzo e migliore amico dell'asso più forte del Giappone"...non voleva averci a che fare, faceva abbastanza figure di merda, non le serviva essere conosciuta da tutti come l'amica di Tendou-assatanato-di-professione-Satori.
