Everyone at school had always seen Connor as a freak with extreme anger problems. At the beginning of 9th grade he became the school stoner and still is, but Connor had a huge and quite odd secret that only his family knows. He distanced himself from others, had no friends, and was extremely lonely and depressed, but that all might change when he meets Evan Hansen.

Evan Hansen watched the taller boy take off with his letter, thoughts of what he might do with it rushing through his mind and encouraging him to pursue the thief. He manages to keep up, unaware that his small interaction with the dark character would cause a friendship to blossom between them. ~ COMPLETE DEH AU where Evan befriends Connor. Connor realizes that Evan didn't pause the movie he accidentally presses the wrong thing which closes the tab. In a panic, he sits up and puts the laptop on his lap before pressing anything he realizes a folder with the words Dear Evan Hansen underneath. Curiosity got the best of him, he opens up the folder finding a letter that starts with the same words the folders was named by. His first thought was that this was some weird sex-related thing.

Evan is starting his first year of college. At least he won't be completely alone, he had his friend he made last year in high school. Unfortunately though he didn't get roomed with any of them. Alana and Zoe got roomed together and Jared go roomed with some other kid. Evan is panicking about his room mate. Will he get a good room mate? Will they become friends or will they be enemies?
