This is an Oumasai fanfic. (Kokichi Ouma x Shuichi Saihara) it has a setting and plot similar to Yandere Simulator.

Kokichi Ouma has been murdered and the only one that can solve his mystery is Shuichi. For as long as he could remember, Saihara has had the power to go back in time... Kind of. His ability allows him to create a simulation of events that occurred no more than three days prior to its use. Once he's in the simulation, however, he is only able to follow one persons story line (typically the victim of the case he's trying to solve). In this case the victim is Kokichi Ouma- a seemingly average out of towner with a dark secret. Shuichi must figure out how he died, before his three days run out. But as his connection to the purple trickster grows so does the number of complications in his case. Junko always loved despair from the bottom of her heart and decides to assassinate Aito Ouma, king of Lorene Kingdom and it succeeded, along with the rest of the family, leaving the world in chaos. What she never realises there will be a hero named Shuichi Saihara, a simple villager who was being trained by his uncle named Akira Saihara is where he met a mysterious Kokichi Ouma, the youngest prince of Lorene kingdom, along with his maid, Kirumi Tojo, asked for his help along with his two friends, Kaede and Kaito as well. At first, it's gonna be a simple journey to save Lorene kingdom from Junko, but what he never expected is falling in love with the mischievous prince.

Shuichi Saihara wasn't fond of Kokichi Ouma at first, but a killing game trapped in a school with fifteen other people can change someone's mind. A lot.
