Warning: the names for some of the places in this story are complete keyboard smashes and are utterly ridiculous. Jeremy was a peasant in the streets of Classarpe, the capital of Tulentede. He never really planned on meeting his soul mate, and he definitely never tried to LOOK for them. He always thought he would disappoint his soul mate because of his poor conditions and having to steal to get food. When he and his friends Rich and Jake get arrested for stealing a loaf of bread, Jeremy discovers something he never would have expected to find at his royal hearing... Michael was the crown prince of Tulentede, the largest region in the known world. Ever since he could walk, he'd been searching for his soul mate, looking into the eyes of every person he met. He didn't care if they were a man, woman, or something in between; he was prepared to love them with all of his heart. He never liked going to oversee the court sentencings very much, even if he had to so that he could prepare for his reign. However, one day, he finds something, or SOMEONE, as he scans the room... This is a "Be More Chill" Boyf Riends soul mate AU, where you first see color when you look into the eyes of your soul mate. If this is the first story of mine that you are reading, go check out my other two, "Bonding" and "Paris"! This story will have a bit of French in it, and I know it doesn't make sense for Michael to be French, but it's the only language I'm a little fluent in and I needed something other than English. The speaking itself will be considered "an unknown language."

It's been over a year since the strike has settled and the newsies haven't had any problems with Pulitzer since. But that's not to say that they didn't all have problems outside of work. Jack and Katherine were unhappy together. They didn't feel the love towards each other that they used to feel. Yet they were too scared to say something to one another. Crutchie wanted for his long-time crush to love him back, although he knew that would never happen. Still, one could dream. Davey and Les's father had been severely injured by an incident at work. He wasn't so lucky this time around and passed away due to blood loss. This drove their mother into a state of insanity, forcing Davey and Les to pack up their things and leave. They now live on the streets with their fellow newsies, struggling to support themselves just like every other newsie. Their lives were still pretty crappy and hopeless, but hey, they were still alive and that was what mattered. Then, a new kid shows up at the gates of The World and sends their lives into chaos once more.
