This is the third and final book in the Circle of Fate series. If you have not read the book Morgana and read Arthur, I would make sure to do that before beginning this. Otherwise, you will be very confused. I hope you enjoy!

Annabeth managed to escape Tartarus and join the seven in the war against Gaea, but Percy was left behind. Now, three centuries later the Doors of Death are opening again and nine heroes descend into the Pit. The events which follow, none of them could have anticipated. When Merlin disappeared, it took a chunk out of everyone's heart, especially Arthur's. The knights and him checked all of the five kingdoms, but he was nowhere to be found. Everyone just gave up and believed that he died. Because of this, Arthur was a mess and shut himself in his room. If you want to find out the rest read this story. Lancelot didn't die. Morgana didn't turn evil. Mordred is still a knight. Lancelot and Gwen are together instead.

Arthur and Merlin become separated at the Valley of the Fallen Kings. Merlin fears he may never see his King again; meanwhile, Arthur makes discoveries of his own. Takes place in between Seasons 4 and 5.

Merlin has a secret past. One that he hasn't told anyone. His parents had die saving him when he was just a child. He had to flee his village or else the other villagers would kill him too. If he died, then, his parents had died for nothing, so he ran away. He made a home on the streets in the city of Caerleon. He became a skilled thief and swords fighter. He was having the time of his life stealing things, that was until he had to flee from the kingdom before he was killed. He traveled to Ealdor in the kingdom of Essetir. There, a woman called Hunith took him in and taught him a few things in the medical care. Years later, he becomes the servant of Prince Arthur. Can his secret past stay secret?

When Merlin, Prince Arthur, and the knights of the round table go on a hunting trip to help relax, they don't expect to be captured by people who are looking for fighters. The knights are forced to fight for others entertainment in the arena, or they will be killed. Merlin has come to expect extra trouble being the Prince's servant, but what he doesn't expect is to meet familiar faces in the arena. Will the knights ever make it back to Camelot? Or will they face their end in this arena? I hope you enjoy it!
