Princess Hilda of Lorule is to take the throne when she comes of age, and it is up to her to save Lorule from its destruction, as her father, the King, doesn't care about anything. She enlists the help of Ravio, a servant who works within Lorule Castle, and together, they summon an ancient spirit who claims he can help Hilda restore Lorule to its former glory.
