When I first started writing Locker 17, I had a different ending than the one on the original book. I couldn't bring myself to just forget about it, so here's a different ending :)

Being told that you have to tutor your bully never really sounds good. When Caitlyn is told she has to tutor the person who has bullied her for years, how will they both react? Is he going to open up to her, or carry on pushing her out? Will she forgive him for the constant pain he's put her in through the years? Bullied by Luke Hemmings.

“We’re a team aren’t we Lucas?” Ashton Irwin had finished his final classes of the day as a freshman in college and Luke had just been picked up by Ashton from high school. “Well Ash, if it wasn’t for you, I’d be… I wouldn’t be here.” Luke muttered, as Ashton hugged him from behind, resting his chin on Luke’s shoulder. “Hey, it’s alright.” Ashton whispered in his ear, lingering a soft kiss on Luke’s cheek. Ashton really did love Luke, no matter what anyone said. There was always going to be people to judge their relationship, including friends and family, but Ashton and Luke both got used to the fact and tried moving on. Anyone who didn’t support their love wasn’t worthy of their time. And in the end, they always had each other, because they’re a team, and a team ever lets its members down.
