A Drarry fanfiction based upon a simple question - what if Draco had met Harry in a different way to how it happened in the books? I try to follow JK's basic storyline so it seems similar to the books and movies, but with some differences (obviously) to make the Drarry happen.

Drarry. 8th year of Hogwarts. In this fic, Draco suffers from some pretty severe depression and anxiety, while Harry is dealing with some PTSD. They're both broken (title drop, roll credits please) and together fix each other? Or some cheesy "they all lived happily(gayly) ever after" or some shit. So yeah. Trigger warning. Drarry Hogwarts 7th year AU. The summer before 7th year, a restless Harry Potter is captured and taken to Malfoy Manor. Together, he and Draco Malfoy escape to Grimmauld place, where they are instructed to stay put while the Order takes care of more urgent business. Left out of the Horcrux hunt, they hatch their own plans to defeat Voldemort. Kreacher and the sentient Black House play a pivotal role, joined by a reluctant Snape and all the usual suspects. With the help of their friends, Harry and Draco learn to tolerate one another, defeat Voldemort, and even death itself. In this alternate Battle of Hogwarts, pranks and scheming carry the day. There was a green light...

It's another year at Hogwarts, and it doesn't really seem like a lot has changed. A whole summer had passed since the war between the students and teachers of Hogwarts, against Voldemort and his Death Eaters, meaning that the break was over and it was time to go back to school for muggles, but more importantly, Harry and his two best friends would be returning back to their beloved school of Witchcraft and Wizardry for a final year. However, not all is fine and dandy, seeing as none other than Draco Malfoy and his minions would be returning to the same school also. Some people really don't change, and Draco hasn't in the slightest. Still being the smug, immature boy that he is, he continues to taunt and pick on Harry despite the fact that Harry had once saved his life during the war. But who knows? Maybe hatred isn't really what sits underneath the surface between these two teenage boys. Perhaps Draco just picks on Harry because he wants his attention, he just won't come to that conclusion...
