Little Demi and Little Joe find their way back to America from Brazil, however, their lives take a turn for the worst. Years later, Joe becomes the leader of a gang and has to protect the people counting on him from the zombie apocalypse. But, the path to safety is crowded with obstacles, and the pressure renders Joe an abusive mess, which greatly affects his relationship with Demi.
