He trained her for 3 years, until one day they had a mission. No anyone was available to look after Ikeri and Itachi couldn't leave her alone so he had to bring her along. "My little girl, stay here. It will only be a few hours. I will always come back for you. Love you." And with that Itachi left. Kakashi and Yamato found her, they thought she was abandoned and brought her back to Konoha.
