After Grell Sutcliff finally confesses her love for William T. Spears, (genuinely) she is harshly rejected by the brunette shinigami. Though Will doesn't realize at first, Grell is now damaged beyond repair. She is only a shell of her former flamboyant self, and everyone notices. But Grell doesn't care.
