It is in high school. There was a 17 year old boy named Dan who had just moved to the school. He had to move away from previous schools because of how much he was bullied. The only reason he was bullied at his old schools is because he has a little Space. He goes into little Space when he is really stressed out or when he gets upset/sad. In his little Space he has a mind of a 2 year old and doesn't remember anything going on from his teenage life. He usually only stays that way for a few hours depending on how upset or stressed he gets. Now what happens when he meets this boy named Phil who he wants to be his daddy?"

Dan and Phil are two complete strangers. Dan is 17 years old and he isn't the brightest student but he enjoys music and gaming. He is from a middle class family. Dan is kind of that quiet emo kid in the back of the room with his earbuds in listening to music. Phil is his complete opposite, he comes from a family of amazing students from Uni. Phil is very wealthy but he hates to brag. He is known for being a sweetheart and kindhearted young man. To his father's disappointment Phil would rather do art and music then play football. Phil is also 17 years old but attends a private school. Dan and Phil end up at the same summer camp for a month and it goes from there.

"'I miss you.' 'What do you mean? I'm right here.' He shook his head. 'No, I mean I miss seeing you. I miss your smile. Seeing you smile made me so happy. I'm still so upset that I'll never see it again.' I breathed in, a bit shaky. 'You've just got to remember that if I'm with you, I'm always smiling, okay?' 'I still miss seeing you. If I could have just one opportunity to be able to see again, even just for a moment, I would spend my time just watching you smile. That's all I would want....'" After a horrible accident, Phil loses his sight and goes completely blind. Dan's help has been amazing to get him through it, but Dan can't help falling in love with his best friend - now in daily need of his care and attention. This story is about love and trust, and how two friends - much more than friends - overcome the odds of a disability, and how they realize that no matter how difficult it gets, they will always have each other.
