(Updates Monthly)When Autumn Flores finds a mysterious book penned in her own handwritting, one she didn't remember writing, a whole new world opens up to her, one desperatedly trying to invade her own. ******* The last thing spunky-teenager and wannabe vlogger Autumn Flores wants to do all summer is spend her precious time in her grandparent's hometown, an Island in the middle of nowhere where Wi-Fi could be considered witchcraft for how backwards it is. With nothing to do, she takes to documenting all the oddities the secretive backwater island had to offer to all her online followers. That is, until she finds a girl at the top of a watchtower, plunging to her death into the restless sea, and a book with her own handwriting and signature in it, detailing spells, formulas, drawings, and a whole other paralel reality where magic is real. It would've been already weird if it weren't for the fact that the same girl appears in town the next day, very much alive, and not remembering her untimely demise. A mysterious book with ties to a magical realm, a dead girl walking, and a town with secrets in every corner. Autumn's summer just got a little more interesting. And a little bit more dangerous.

When a predator targets a lonely young girl, eight strangers can either fight to stop him, or face the wrath of the spirit that tied their fates together. Is life a series of random events, or are we all connected by invisible threads of fate? Well, in the town of Gossamer Loom, the answer is complicated... and also pretty disturbing. Local legend speaks of the Weaver, a wild spirit that threads the lives of the townsfolk together. Once you pass through Gossamer Loom, your fate becomes a thread in her tapestry. Her "web." And when a lonely young girl meets a dangerous man at the edge of town, she and seven others are suddenly drawn into the Weaver's web, connected by nightmares and uncanny coincidences that pull them into each other's lives. As their bond grows, the Octagon is formed. Leslie, Josiah, Ivy, Coop, Willy, Jane, Eli, and Caroline will either accept their fates, or suffer the dire consequences of denying the Mother of the Spiders. Octagon has eight parts, called "threads," and there are eight chapters per thread (64 chapters total). Each chapter in Octagon has a corresponding "Formation Song." That is, each chapter has a corresponding song that I listened to for inspiration as I wrote it. The songs are listed at the top of each thread.

Cover = Creative Commons. Blurb = It only takes a second to lose everything... One second of rage and Adam became a widower. People say it's natural to see the deceased everywhere you look. They don't say anything about them screaming your name in the dead of night, or about them trying to kill you. Highest rating in Horror so far #36 Third place Horror Winner (The Puppet Awards 2017) Reader Feedback. "Nice first chapter. Perfect amount of detail, this could almost be a short story in and of itself." @KRRodriguez "Brilliant!" @AnnMarieMarsh "Damn.... this book just gets darker and darker. I love it.... more, more, more." @melterry921 "Wow.. just wow" @Darkgirl_forever
