As children he made a promise to protect her, but never made good on that promise. He lived with that guilt as she lived with the disappointment. Neither one of them expected to be brought back together again, especially at the end of the world. It would seem fate wasn't through with them, and they'd have to not only find their place in the new world, but their place with each other. I will try to stick to the main story plot, but I will most likely be tweaking some of it around. Also, I like when characters stay close to the same as the original idea, and as always, I do not claim any of those as my own.
