My take on Owen & Amelia's relationship. All events take place after 11x24, prior to S12. I do not own the characters - all belong to Shonda Rhimes and ABC. Enjoy! Hugs & Kisses, Scalpels & Clamps, -G

Owen and Amelia have been friends for a few years. They have overcome a lot individually, as well as things that they had in common. Will these things bring them closer and maybe give them a chance to find true love?

It has been 1 year after Cristina left and Owen is ready to get back on the horse. Amelia seems perfect to Owen, but he doesn't know if it is a good idea to get involved with Derek's younger sister. Amelia knows Derek won't approve of her dating, especially considering the last time she got together with a guy, it didn't turn out well. Owen doesn't know about her "issues" and she thinks it will turn him away. Amelia doesn't know about Owen's problems either. They could be a perfect couple if they just knew the truth! Warning: There will be some sexual content along with some very good descriptions of what goes on in an on-call room (hint;hint;)

Cristina leaving Owen, makes him all dark and twisty, Derek dying brings back the old "cutting days" for Amelia. Owen and Amelia are best friends, not realizing that they will end up together . Will they continue to live like this ? -or- Will they see how they could work out life TOGETHER?
