But as he gets deeper into planning his loveless wedding, he slowly realizes how much time he spends with the admittedly cute baker who is making their cake. And maybe... love isn't such a silly idea anymore. - Raven knew that getting this contract - baking the most important cake for the most important wedding of the decade - would set her up for financial success. She just didn't think that Damian Wayne would find a way to pull on her heartstrings, and every text, call, or frustrated email suddenly made her realize how utterly hopeless she really was. I decided to write this explaining why this ship between the characters of Damian Wayne/Robin and Rachel Roth/Raven needs to happen. This is the only time I've ever truly cared that a ship has to take place to write something about it. I mean we all have our characters that we want to see paired up. But, with this particular ship we have a slim chance that it might not fully take place. (Even though I think it will based on all that's been set up, because if they didn't that'd be really stupid). I also want to make this clear from the get go before I'm bombarded with comments that I don't hate BBRAE shippers I may not like the pairing but I respect other people's viewpoints.
