For shop girl Evin, alchemy is an understood part of life. She learned how to brew superior potions at a young age and can't imagine her life without the use of Alertness, For General Pain, and Menstrual Cramp Cure. Though already apprenticed to a local master alchemist, she can't help feeling that there might be more for her to achieve. In a different part of the continent, Master Bricot teaches alchemy at the University of Craestor and is working feverishly at his residency project--translating the sacred document The Facerum--when a student of his approaches him seeking help on an unprecedented issue. And south of Craestor in Daitak Capital, the Seat of the World, Emperor Regent Bryn Beynon can't stand potions or those who make and sell them, believing their use, especially martially, to be barbaric and cruel. His first act when coming of age will be to begin imposing legal strictures on the use and sale of such items. Out in the Wilds of Tief, Craix, who travels alone, has never been safe. Not since she was born. Forever trying to evade her pursuers, she travels across the country, constantly intercepting important messages. And over all people in the realm of Heladrith, a pantheon of powerful gods sits in judgement and benevolence, silent for centuries--but not for much longer. Potent is an original, third-person omniscient, past-tense, low fantasy tale with an ensemble cast of approximately eight characters of different genders, orientations, colors, and classes. --Seeking beta readers for this manuscript! The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is an American children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow, originally published by the George M. Hill Company in Chicago on May 17, 1900. It has since been reprinted on numerous occasions, most often under the title The Wizard of Oz, which is the title of the popular 1902 Broadway musical as well as the iconic 1939 musical film adaptation. The story chronicles the adventures of a young farm girl named Dorothy in the magical Land of Oz, after she and her pet dog Toto are swept away from their Kansas home by a cyclone. The novel is one of the best-known stories in American literature and has been widely translated. Its groundbreaking success and the success of the Broadway musical adapted from the novel led Baum to write thirteen additional Oz books that serve as official sequels to the first story.

After many years, many edits, and over 500k reads on Wattpad, The Divide is finally published on Amazon! It's 2028, and Earth has been under attack by an alien species for two years. This human-like alien species, called Emigres, left their planet to start over after ruining it with constant nuclear war. Looking much like us, the only physical difference between humans and Emigres are that the Emigres have violet eyes. After wiping out much of the human race, the Emigres closed off an area of land in the United States and called it the Reserve. Any humans who surrender will be placed in there, and anyone who refuses to surrender is immediately killed. 18-year-old Rachel Collins has spent the last two years in the Reserve, but talk about a group of humans building an army outside the walls has her curious to see what lies beyond them. When her father escapes to join the rebels, Rachel plans her escape as well. What are the Emigres planning, and will the rebels be able to stop it? Rachel is about to find out, and only one thing is certain: the end of our world is the beginning of theirs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Book One in the Soldiers of the Earth series RANKED #8 IN SCIENCE FICTION SELECTED BY THE 5TH WAVE MOVIE FOR STRONG FEMALE LEAD CHOSEN AS WATTPAD BOOK OF THE WEEK: http://cbybookclub.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/book-of-week-wattpad_11.html
