For once, the dark does not scare me. I surge ahead, weaving through the buildings with ease. I've lived in this place long enough to know exactly how to find you. Without the loud buzzing of the fluorescents, the air circulating through the vents in this massive structure gives off a deep resonating hum, like a wail of despair rising from deep underground. The place is nothing but a husk of what it was, the hastened scurrying of little feet as nonexistent as the lies that kept them moving.

Set in France on a large, aging plantation, The Party takes the overused idea of a murderous party and adds a dark and confusing twist.
