After a year of depression, Amber and her best friend/ex-boyfriend Brady get accepted into Oregon State University and she is elated. She will finally be able to get back together with AJ. Or...will she? Things don't go as Amber has planned; AJ's very different now and Amber doesn't know what she's feeling anymore or for who, on that matter. Will Amber get her "happily ever after"? Or will her fairy tale change to something no one could have seen coming?

I hate myself. I'm ugly and I'm fat. My friends don't think so. But I know they're just being nice. I get bullied a lot. By the barbies. I like to call them that. I wish I were them. Their perfect bodies and perfect hair. All the boys always swoon over them. Like they would never do to me. The guys always stare at me. My friends say it's because they like me, but I know better.
