Priscilla is a bastard child of Jamaican immigrant named Doreen Brown and Scottish, mega rich, doctor, scientist and business man named Oliver McCoy who was also a married man. Nether the less Doreen and Oliver the unlikely pair fell in love and conceived Priscilla. The birth of Priscilla was kept secret to Oliver's family of course until the day Doreen and Oliver was murdered. This caused Priscilla's great grandmother "Nana" to step in as guardian since Oliver's family saw Priscilla as a non-legitimate child and Doreen's family was in Jamaica.
Nana loved Priscilla dearly and taught her about Jesus. But when Priscilla became a preteen Nana died and Priscilla went into the foster care system. Being there she was adopted but she was abused verbally, mentally, emotionally and sexually. She was forced to sell her body. This sent Priscilla on the road of wanting to find out who she is and wanting to live a happy normal life.
Priscilla, following in her mother's foot steps became burlesque stripper at the same a night club. She is one of the top stripper's at the club. Priscilla works hard for her money so she can live a comfortable, independent life. But even with money and an apartment to call her own she isn't happy and she blames God for her life. She hates him for her past and she wonders why did her family had to die.
Regardless of how she feels Priscilla works till one day the owner of Nightingale, Sal, forces Priscilla to take a teen named April and train her to be a prostitute and dancer. Priscilla wants no part of this and helps the girl escape.
The more involved she becomes with April the more she turns away from Nightingale and turns to God. Watch Priscilla's up and down relationship with God. Will she come to fully trust in him?
