There were two things that heralded death: seeing your reflection on a blade, and words of love. "The Weak Man's Kingdom is strong. The Blind Man's Nation sees the future. The Deaf Man's Country can hear all whispers. And the Mute Man's land, ravaged by blue fire and red ice, disappeared centuries ago," Hitoshi smiled, "Such is the power of words stringed into song."

|1ST PLACE IN HISOKA FOR HUNTERXHUNTER WATTYS| Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who lived in a magical kingdom. The princess was as fair as she was kind. When she was born, a horrible witch put a curse on her. To save her life, the princess was forced to live in a tower that no man was able to set foot in. The princess was lonely and she sang her heart out everyday. A prince heard her beautiful songs and was mesmerized. Eventually he climbed up the tower and defeated the witch, and they lived happily ever after. That's the story people want to hear. That's the story that they are familiar with; that they want to happen. They want to read about righteousness and chivalry, of heroes and heroines, of how good always triumphs over evil. I am no princess; I am an Empress. My kingdom is not magical, there are no fairies, no magic, no happily-ever afters. My kingdom was built on death, and suffering, and the endless tears and screams of the fallen. There is no good in Heaven's Arena. There is the strong, and the weak; and the strong are called Gods. It's not an evil curse that traps me in this tower, but my own stupidity; and it won't be a prince that rescues me - but the joker. I will not have a happily-ever after, it is my repentance for my sin. I dared to challenge the so called Gods... And I won. - |Started: May 2016 || Complete uwu |

Disgusted with her clan's culture, Valeria was more than happy to leave the clan. However she could not because of her precious younger brother. If she left, who would protect her fragile younger brother? The one who is considered a failure in the clan? How would he bear the burden of leading the family? Valeria is chained to her village and was obligated to walk side by side with the very rules she hate. However, as part of her training, Valeria went to take the Hunter x Hunter exam where she met Kurapika, Killua, Gon, and Leorio.
