Artemis has always been peculiar, even when she was young and people noticed especially when she was blunt. Causing her mother Lorraine to act as a buffer when too many questions were asked regarding her daughter and her bluntness. This didn't help Artemis in the friend department, with children and teens alike avoiding her majority of the time as she grew. The girls perception, sass and attention to detail allowed her to notice things that would escape any average persons line of sight. Especially when she notices a slight moving shimmer in what should be an empty park in the middle of the night on her 20th birthday.

This was a story I gifted to AO3's Tiger_Lilly13. She gave me inspiration with her story Love and Honor (on AO3) by taking an awesome Yautja (Fugitive) and giving him a better story then that hunk of junk movie he was in. I am taking a page right out out of her book, quite literally. I am taking MY favourite Predator, Wolf, and taking him out of that even more god-awful movie Alien vs Predator: Requiem and giving him a Yautja name, with his own story too lol This is my version of Wolf.

Growing up you wouldn't have guessed that I knew how to shoot, hunt, or even defend myself, many people back on Earth never would've thought that I would have survived there out in the cold harsh world of Alaska, but had it not been for my cousin who I consider my mother, I never would've made this far. After all that both my cousin and I have been through together in our lives it's a wonder how we survived back on Earth. It was hard sometimes, been out here in the mountains. Winter was never easy, there were hardly any animals around to keep me company.
