Erinyen and Eris two sisters both in search of destruction and unrest! Their parents named them after Greek goddesses and they live up to their name! Erinyen stands for - the goddess of vengeance and the personification of remorse! Eris stands for - the goddess of discord and strife! Originally, the two come from a small town a little further away called Phthia! But they heard about riots in Wessex and wanted to get in on the action and be the reason why the riots rise! Only the two did not consider that on their way they would meet the Dane slayer and his loyal men! Aviana or how most people call her ‚Ana', is the eldest daughter of King Alfred and Lady Ælswith. Her younger siblings, Æthelflæd and Edward, love their big sister, with every bit of their heart! Aviana's cousin Æthelwold, loves her and protects her, on every step she takes! Alfred worried about Æthelwold being angry with Aviana's birth but soon his worries were gone! Aviana soon meets a man and a woman called Uhtred and Brida. Their ways cross, as he swears an oath to her father and she nearly loses her mind over it! She knows Alfred wasn't very fond of the young man, but still wanted him in his service! Uhtred was born a Saxon but raised a Dane and Aviana never understood, how he could ban god from his heart! Uhtred served Alfred well and soon became his most trusted warrior! Aviana and her mother still detested him and they reminded Alfred daily. As Æthelflæd grew older and wiser, Aviana realised, that she wanted to know more about politics and war! Edward was still a young boy and with that, far away from all the danger! Uhtred soon came back, after killing the targets, her father told him to kill! Lady Ælswith and Aviana never looked into Uhtred's eyes...not until one day, he brought a man with him! He called him 'his man' and Alfred's bastard son Osferth, soon wanted to join Uhtred and his man! Aviana never really talked to Osferth, she had no reason to do so. But unexpectedly she fell in love with one of the warriors, after he saved her, from Danes! It was a forbidden love, as she was a princess of Wessex and he a Dane! She soon realised, that she wanted to be with him so she needed to make a decision...betray her family to be with the Dane or fulfil her duty as a princess?
