This story takes place after the events of "No Such Luck" and "The Anon-a-Miss" events, focusing on Lincoln Loud and Sunset Shimmer as they both struggle with broken hearts after their friends and families have turned their backs on them. In this crossover, both The Loud House and Equestria Girls exist in the same universe, but the story will not feature the pony versions of the characters they will be mentioned but not featured. Instead, it will center on the sibling bond between Lincoln and Sunset, as they find solace in each other during their difficult times. Meanwhile, the Loud family and the Mane 5 will work to make amends for the hurt they caused and try to repair the relationships they've damaged.
