#1 Teen Fiction - 25.04.18 {Completed} "No one has ever spoken to me like that." "And why is that? Because you're the 'bad boy'?" "Exactly sweetheart. You'd be best to remember it." Ashley Anderson switched apartments four times before she found one that actually looked like it did on the website - no grubby shower, no busted sink and no 'DIY wardrobe' - the only problem was she wasn't expecting a roommate. Ashley Anderson and Mason Murphy both study at the local university, only thing is they are complete opposites; Ashley is a hard-working, non-drinker, non-smoker who is tidy and never home late, while Mason is the uni bad boy with a bad rep and a girl on either arm. How will they get on? First draft - Excuse any spelling errors or mistakes. [cover by: Imperfect_beautyy]

{Young Adult Reads} {Trailer Included} {Humor/Chicklet} Highest Chicklet Ranking: #214 "The Crush" The awkward 4 stage position everyone finds themselves in at some point in their teenage life. Stage 1 "Puppy Love" Stage 2 "Denial" Stage 3 "Acceptance" Stage 4 "Desperate" For most people there are four stages. For me, there are five. Stage 5 has way too long a title to write out. Basically, it's the stage where I figure out, my crush doesn't want me back, both my best friends love me, and a whole lot of others start to join the infinity love triangle. Well things start to get a jumbled up and hazy. Let's just say, "It's Complicated". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I would love to be in math right now" she extraordinarily remarks, despite the insanity the comment drips with. "How?!" I grip my hair, threatening to tug each clump of the rats nest out of my skull. The dementia, the irrationality, the derangement of the statement. It's incriminating. It's preposterous. A true abomination, calamity, fiasco, a setback to our great country. "How could you possibly say something so atrocious?! How could you possibly mean something so revolting?!" "Take a chill pill, Adriann. I like math. Get it through your head." she holds her hands up in an innocent fashion. I can almost see a white flag in her palms. "I just...I find it so very vile." I stick my tongue out, proving my distaste with a triumphant fart noise. ~Warning~ Fair amount of inappropriate language, and sexual innuendo Banners by @ahimah

★ NOW PUBLISHED! ★ What do you get when you add the ultimate meet cute + a bruised head? = A whole can of heartbreak. It all starts in aisle three. Lacie O'Connor prefers to see the world in black and white, logical, rational, and natural, like her biology major. She just wants to survive her freshman year of college, but first she must find a can of peas. Instead, she gets hit on the head with a box of cake mix. Trent Montgomery is all saturated and technicolor even in the maroon employee polo. Lacie thought she left him and his sheepish smiling friend at the grocery store but finds him in her most dreaded class: Intro to Philosophy. He sits next to her, and it's all PLATOnic until he presses his foot up against hers. That's all it takes for her to get lost in the philosophy of Trent. What starts out as sidewalk conversations soon leads to study sessions that transform to cuddle sessions that transform to make-out sessions. But just before winter break, Trent steps back. He dodges her texts. He kisses her in private but blows her off in public. Lacie knows miscommunication and mixed signals spread like an invasive plant species, but what she can't figure out is which version of Trent is real. The one she met in aisle three, or the one who likes to get drunk in dorm building basements. © 2015 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting © 2019 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting |Edited/NEW| © 2022 Published version All Rights Reserved |Third Place Winner in #Readytoreadya2018 Young Adult Reads Contest|

In a small Indiana town, a teenage girl hasn't been seen for months, and her brother Reed is sketchy on the details. But seventeen-year-old Mayuri Krishnan doesn't know any of this-not yet. For her, Reed is the boy of her daydreams, the name she scribbles in her notebook, and the starring role of her online cliche mafia romance. When he stumbles upon her secrets, she first thinks Reed's claims to be from an Albanian crime family are lies intended to trick her. Soon, Mayuri begins to question the thin line between fiction and reality. Threats are made, daggers are drawn, and near-misses come too close for comfort. With Reed's promise to keep her safe from those who want her dead, and her growing belief that he may be lying about it all, Mayuri chooses to keep the dangerous part of her life a secret from her cop father. Things come to a head when she teams up with Reed's ex-girlfriend and best friend to uncover his secrets, leading to a night when a knife and a gun determine all their futures. She didn't mean to run away from a murder. She didn't have a choice. Abducted by someone she trusted, Mayuri must use all her wiles to save herself. The true lies that drew Reed and Mayuri together-and the false truths they discover along the way-could drive them apart forever.
