Two years ago, Frank killed himself. Gerard wasn't exactly riddled with guilt, but he knew it was his causing. Frank did say, "If I kill myself, it'll be your fault." He couldn't even attend his boyfriend's funeral. Gerard had grown more cold towards others and avoided any socializing by any means possible. He barely talked. His behavior did improve drastically though. Early-ish intervention seemed to have been finally paying off. Sociopaths sometimes found someone they connected with. It was love for them, but it was different for them. It was a way of suffocating yourself in their presence. The way he felt for his Frankie was a way where he just needed to have a very close relation to him. But, Gerard learns of some interesting news that changes everything he was told for the last two years.

When Malik Mathers, a curly haired, flower loving, sixteen year old boy goes to the David Bowie Festival, he figures all the fun he would have would come from Bowie. It was only a day after meeting Ash Broderick, a slightly edgy, dark haired, seventeen year old, he realized most of the fun came from him.

Gerard Way was put in to a mental hospital two years ago for killing somebody. Frank arrives one day due to suicidal thoughts that have been haunting him for years. They get closer each day and reveal to each other their innermost secrets. Gerard is a sociopath though. Sociopaths' intentions are never good. so·ci·o·path ˈsōsēōˌpaTH/ noun a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience. I finished A Splitting of the Mind and was inspired to make a story about Gee and Frankie in a mental institute. I also dedicate this to my favorite fanfiction author, @potatoyoghurt

Frank was an idiot. He accidentally stole a dog. So Frank decides that he would ask his neighbour, Gerard, for help. Although, they've never talked. After befriending him, much to Gerard's annoyance, Frank realizes he really likes him. But a lot of awkward things and stupid choices on Frank's part could really jeopardize their friendship, or relationship...

This will be a poem on the remarkable fanfiction, A Splitting of the Mind. I have found myself crying over the words, "He knows things remember?" Those were the words Markman spoke at the end of the story. Gerard, did in fact, know things.
