Except this isn't a coming of age movie and Jack isn't a sixteen year old girl, he's a seventeen year old boy. He would rather stay out of the spotlight. Life was going just the way Jack wanted until he moved back to San Francisco for his parents business. Zach immediately had his eyes on the boy. Jack didn't know if he hated it or loved it. Jack Avery has always been his big brother's shadow. Whenever someone talks to him in school, it's always the same conversation; "Can I have Corbyn's number?" then Jack has to awkwardly deny the request. He's shy, stutters a lot, quiet and... Gay so he gets teased frequently. Bullying is a strong word and Jack hates to describe it as that even though it most likely is. Zach Herron has never joined in on picking on the nerd, he doesn't want to be seen as a bully especially a typical bully who only starts on the smallest. He's went through the majority of his life along side Corbyn Besson so seeing Jack get picked on is a regular occurrence. Whenever he could, without destroying his reputation too much, Corbyn would attempt to save his younger brother from harm's way. But, what happens when Zach saves the little nerd from a hotheaded, attention-seeking jock?
