Just a little fan fiction about Newt and Thomas having a fling, having feelings for each other, and Minho getting hurt and entering the Maze at night. The character personality might be a bit different, but not on purpose. This is the first fanfic I'm pretty serious about, so sorry if it's a bit...juvenile. There will be mature scenes, so here's your warning. Enjoy.

AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF SHE WAS SAVED! THIS STORY ALSO INCLUDES A CROSSOVER BETWEEN THE MAZE RUNNER/ THE HUNGER GAMES AND DİVERGENT! SO IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THOSE SERIES THERE ARE MASSIVE SPOILERS! [EDIT 1] My work is currently undergoing some revisions. I wrote this 5 years ago, and needless to say, some of the dialogue, scenes, wording, and overall feel is quite childish. Not all of it, but some of it. I've decided to revisit my original first story and make it better. The story is definitely much more mature now, and I think everyone will enjoy it better now that the tone has changed to fit the melancholy nature of my story. Thanks in advance. Thomas gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: plant an idea in someone's mind. If he succeeds, Thomas and his fellow gladers will have succeeded in bringing back a long lost friend. But a dangerous enemy anticipates his every move.

(Slight spoilers for TFC, but if you don't know what to look for you won't even know!) Thomas has been in the maze a little while now, and both he and Newt have unexpressed feelings for each other. Things suddenly turn upside down and everyone is dying around them, it's almost like the maze isn't a good place for a relationship. Times are tough, people are breaking, the maze is breaking, the answer to escape is just a sacrifice away! Can they get out? If so, how? What's out there? Who will make it?
