"He doesn't have much time, it'd be best to just pull the plug." I heard a husky voice say. But I still hadn't understand what was going on. So I listened closely again. There was a faint whimper, "Can't we d-d-do something? Anything?" The sadden voice, pleaded and begged. It was a females voice, but who did it belong to? And why was she so sad? "Mrs. Emerson, I'm sorry to say we tried our best to bring him back. All we can do now is give you some time with him before we shut the system down." He paused, cleared his throat, then continued. "Would you like to say your final goodbyes to your son? We'll leave now." It was silence for a breif moment. Then suddenly, someone bursted into loud whimpers. I could imagine how heart broken this person was. But I still didn't understand why? Who's plug were they pulling? Why was Mrs. Emerson saying her final goodbyes to her son? Where were they? And why couldn't I see them, but just hear them? What was happening, nothing seemed to make sense. All I could hear next was, 'BEEEEEEEEEEEEP.' And then the sound faded away. The dark brightened, and light shined through. What was happening now? A warm feeling filled me, and I felt as if I was being lifted away somewhere. Where was I going? The light blinded me, and in matter of moments I awoke...
