"Tell me, Gwen," Peter says, looking at me with his impossible green eyes. "Are you afraid of the dark?" "No." I say, and I'm lying. But he pretends that I'm not, and I pretend not to notice, and the portal zips shut behind us. No going back now. "Welcome," the hollow children say, as I follow Peter through the crowd. "Welcome to Neverland, Gwendolyn. Welcome to the World of Unhappy Endings." ~~~ When Gwendolyn McKinnith gets lost in the stacks of the Library of Congress, she never expects to find an ancient book stuffed into a random, hidden corner. It's called the Book of Unhappy Endings, and it seems to call to her, begging her to take it home. But when Gwen opens the Book, bad things start to happen in her life, and all the light begins to bleed from her world. Creatures of Nightmare start to tear at the very fabric of time and nothing anyone tries is able to stop them. Then, a young man shows up in Gwen's bedroom; he is tall and beautiful and elfin, and there are shadows in his brilliant green eyes. He tells her that he is Peter Pan, and he needs her to come with him to Neverland or her world will descend into anarchy. Gwen wants to save the world, but to do that, she'll have to enter the Book with Peter and never come out again. She'll have to give up everything; her family, her friends, her life. Even her chance at Happily Ever After. Book Two in the Neverland Archives (they do NOT have to be read in order! This is purely for the history and timeline of Neverland).

18 year old American Jay is stuck on an English coastal island. Riddled with anxiety, she can’t find who she is or what to do in her self help books. The only thing she knows she wants is Parker, a fairground guy, surrounded by danger, who doesn’t date tourists ever. It’s crunch time for Jay, time to make the big life choices about her future. Is safe good? Who says what’s right? Could Parker be her answer? ***** This book does contain adult themes. Its my first novel and I've entered it into the #wattys2015 and #sytycw15 as life's short so why the hell not. Hopefully this will mean more people may give it a go and have a read. Its part of a series I have planned so watch this space. Its all my own work so please do not steal it and remember this is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Or in the words of Snap "The Power" 1990's tune: "Copy written lyrics (words) so they can't be stolen If they are snap Don't need the police to try to save them Your voice will cease, so please, stay off my back Or I will attack and you don't want that" "The Power" was written by Benites, Benito/garrett Iii, John Virgo/colandreo, Antoinette.
