This takes place after mockingjay and the rebellion. Katniss and Peeta live their lives together but have to fight through the hardships of love and enemies.

This is the second book of the sequel. You have to read the first book before you read this one! I don't want anything spoiled for you so read the first story. This story is a continuation of Katniss and Peeta and their journey together as a married couple. They finally have 2 beautiful children Rye and Arabelle. They all grow together as one, as a family. What if Peeta Wasn't hijacked in Mockingjay?

I use a technique Dr Aurelius suggested for the times when I start to feel myself slipping. My name is Peeta Mellark. I am 17 years old. My home home was District 12. My home was destroyed in a bombing. My family is dead. I was in the Hunger Games. I escaped with the help of President Coin and District Thirteen. Katniss was taken prisoner. She is thought to be dead. Most likely she is dead. It is probably best if she's dead . . .

Katniss and Peeta Mellark have escaped a destroyed District Four on the Millennium Falcon, piloted by Han Solo. They will meet new friends, but what happens when the Capitol's forces force the Empire to rise to power once more?
